About Taotaob

Taotaob is a studio brand for handmade jewelry. We make freshwater pearl necklaces, natural gemstone bracelets, sterling silver rings and earrings — designed, assembled and finished by hand in small batches, then shipped from Changsha, Hunan, China to customers worldwide.

Taotaob is operated by Changsha Huamao Ke Technology Co., Ltd., a company registered in Changsha, Hunan, China.

What we make

Our collection is deliberately narrow: freshwater pearls (mostly baroque and irregular), natural gemstones such as aquamarine, garnet, moonstone, blue lace agate and yellow tower quartz, and sterling silver findings. Nothing is moulded to a fixed template, so the piece you receive carries its own small variations in shape, colour and pattern.

How we work

• Materials first — each design starts from what the pearls and stones actually look like, not from a drawing.
• Finished by hand — selecting, drilling, stringing, knotting, setting and polishing happen on a bench, one piece at a time.
• Small batches — we release a limited number of pieces at a time so quality doesn't drift.
• Checked before it leaves — every order is inspected and packed by our own team.

What "Taotaob Select" means

"Taotaob Select" is our own house mark. It means the piece was made or assembled by us, from materials we chose ourselves, and sold directly to you — no middle layer, no inflated retail markup.
